Sweet 16 Predictions-(Fridays Games) North Carolina V.S Butler

The first game on Friday is Butler against North Carolina. Both of these teams faced close games in the round of 32 when Butler took down Middle Tennesse 74-65, while UNC beat Arkansas 72-65. In result of that, both teams will try to get out to a hot start to avoid getting in another close game.

Noth Carolina’s Key’s to th e Game:

In order for North Carolina to win they will have to shoot better from the three point then they did against Arkansas when they when 5 of 17. Another key factor to UNC’s chances to win is if Joel Berry II preforms better then his last outing when he went 2 of 13 from the feil and 2 of 8 from the3 point line.

Butler’s Key’s to the Game:

Unlike North Carolina, Butler buried all four of it’s 3-point attempts in the first 10 minutes of the game and got off to a hot start against Middle Tennesse. In order for Bulter to advance another round they must get off to another hot start. Another key to Butler’s chance of winning is for them to be able to defend North Carolina’s top scorers. The good news for Butler is that they held Middle Tennessee’s Giddy Potts scoreless and forced him to go 0 of 8 from the feild, while entering this game he averaged almost 16 points a game.

Prediction: Butler is going to start off hot from behind the arc and jump out to an early lead, but enetually North Carolina will get on a run off of Butler commited tournovers and take the lead in the second half to keep their hopes of returning to the National Title game alive.

No.1 North Carolina v. No.4 Butler: North Carolina 82, Butler 75
